What to Expect on Your First Visit
1 Comprehensive Assessment
Our friendly staff will welcome you to our clinic. Dr. Nyman will conduct a thorough history and physical examination to identify the root cause of your pain or concern. This may include range of motion, orthopedic tests, palpation, special tests and gait assessment. Typically x-rays are not required, but can be ordered if necessary.
2 Report of Findings
Before any treatment begins, Dr. Nyman will explain your diagnosis in plain English, discuss the treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have. This is an interactive discussion to help you better understand your condition and the recommended treatment.
3 Initial Treatment
In most cases, treatment can begin on the same day. Treatment is individualized based on your condition, your likes and your dislikes. The comprehensive treatment may include a variety of services such as chiropractic treatment/adjustment, soft tissue therapy, electrotherapy, laser therapy or other techniques depending on your specific condition.
